Three tribes that encompass all of the Silverdale kingdom. Rabbit Riders inhabit the ground and are the elves first line of defense. They generally live in tree houses not far up the trunks of the extremely large trees of the forest, but also have ground dwellings. Stag Sisters generally roam freely and will most commonly can be seen around sacred groves. They do not have a specific habitat, but do have a main “hub” where the Queen resides called The Heartwood. Falcon Furies inhabit the silver tinted canopies and the bordering mountains that the trees tend to grow into or around on the borders. Because of how the tribes work and due to two of them being only female, the Rabbit Riders are generally where they all start, but shortly into their adolescence, they’re tasked with visiting the other tribes for up to 5 years (pretty short in elf terms). This is their trial period and if they like it, they are welcomed into the new tribe. If not, they move on to the next until they find the tribe that's right for them. If they do not chose, they either default to Rabbit Riders and some will occasionally leave to travel.
Male and Female. Smaller in stature, wiry and rogue-like. They ride rabbits and patrol the underbrush of the forests that the elves inhabit. They mainly have natural hair colors and eyes. There’s occasionally one or two who might have some strange hair or eye color, but that is generally an indicator that they have come from another tribe or wield magic (also rare with the Rabbit Riders)
Lifespan: Avg 800
Height: Avg 5 feet
General Appearances: Grunge type clothing, mix and match of leather and cloth. Also grunge type hairstyles like mohawks, side shaves, etc. Ears have a small curve near the tip.
Hair colors: Black, brown, dark red, dark purple, dark green, extremely dark purple.
Eye colors: Brown, black, green, (blue is super rare and normally denotes they’re originally from a different tribe).
General color pallets for clothes: Dark earthy tones in general due to camouflage within the forest. Due to the forest colors of dark purples and blues, their outfits tend to be either black or dark purple.
General Class types: Rogue, Warrior and a special unit for archers. Rarely are there magic users, and if a Rabbit Rider displays signs of magic use they’re given the option to stay, join another tribe, or leave for the academy but it all depends on the level of magic and whether they’re a Savant or Grigori. However, the tribe is not fond of magic users for the most part, and generally prefers the elf in question to leave. This has a lot to do with the rivalry with the Stag Sisters as well.
Hierarchy: Ruled by the Council of Th’res
Do not normally deal with magic, but there are plenty who are born to their tribe that wield magic. Some stay, most go as the Rabbit Riders don’t take kindly to magic due to their rivalry with the Stag Sisters.
Naming conventions: Normally have whole names, but elves who have apostrophes in their name means they once came from a different tribe. LAst names can sometimes reflect their Rabbit Rider status, but not always (IE: Nor'eena Swifthistle)
They have 7 "cities" around the perimeter of Silverdale, and their main purpose is to scout, patrol and defend the borders. One encampment will send out several parties throughout the day. Each one is ruled over by one of the seven leaders for their tribe.
Leaders: Hinryka Gatestrider/ Female, Sanaz Vinereaver/Female, Endre Brushrunner/ Male, Torsten Hillleaper/ Male, Runa Flintcarver/ Female, Gerdbrand Ironshaper/ Male, Astryd Lorespeaker/ Female
They generally stay in dwellings either on the ground (made in the bushes) or some more permanent camps, have tree houses.
Stag Sisters: Only female (however, males who choose to go into their sect can become female.) They are essentially Dryads who keep a record of the magics throughout the land and explore to find new ones. They’re considered a Dryad class/race in that when not in their elven form (with some stag like qualities) they can transform into their signature plant. They’re common attributes are:
Their purpose is to detect and record magical happenings. In the elven lands they have hundreds of sacred groves set up that they use to commune with the magic as well as use to train new Stag Sisters. During their trial period, Stag sisters will commune with the cabbits that help keep the groves pristine. Once the Stag sister is ready, she is given an emerald gemstone from the Heartwood to wear as a pendant or to adorn their person. This gem is where they hold the magical data they collect. After receiving the gem, they then travel all over the world collecting and recording magical data whether it’s to report that everything is the same, if there’s changes or if an area once rife with magic is now devoid of it. Once a year, the Stag Sister will return to Silverdale and commune with the Heartwood. There is no set time, just whenever a year has passed for the individual. They then put all of this info into a large Emerald stone that compiles all the data. Once done, the stone will give them new info given to it by others that way all of the Stag Sisters are informed at all times. This data is then sent to a second gemstone that the Falcon Furies use to transcribe that data and place in their archives for historical purposes. For their communion, it can either be done on their own or with an official group that the queen oversees. She can’t attend them all, but tries to.
When Stag Sisters die, the earth consumes them almost immediately. Once consumed, their designated flower grows there.
The Queen of ALL Elves resides there and will make decisions for all of the tribes if need be, however, they all three work in perfect unison with little to no issues regarding power. However, Stag Sisters and Rabbit Riders have a bit of a “feud” going on due to the Stag Sisters and their condescending nature.
The Queen has commanders and princess type spots, but they’re called Petals. The Main crystal chooses the next Queen from their ranks. (always a Stag Sister)
Queen is primarily stationary, but travels for diplomatic purposes and will commune when she returns.
Lifespan: 1000+ depending
Height: 6.5 ft avg
Body type: Curvy and voluptuous
Can transform into stag form or plant form depending on the situation.
Hierarchy: Queen and two Petals
Naming Convention: First and Last name. Similar to other elves, the first name is a general one like Siana and the last name is a combination of descriptors OR a single term that is the name of a plant like Morninglory or Daylily.
They don’t really live in dwellings, due to their dryad nature, they’ll either shape shift into their plant or they’ll go into a pure stag form and sleep that way.
Female only. Males who decide to join from other tribes, will turn into females (though Falcon Furies tend to be androgynous anyway)
They can turn into birds as well as their normal elf form, but that form tends to have wings for arms, making them a harpy like creature. Not all of them choose this, some display their wings on their back but generally their wings are always displayed.
Body types: They tend to be shorter and “thicker” and wear furs. Since they use the caves for their archives, this is also why they’re shorter, but because the Rabbit Riders are generally where they originate from, unless born into the tribe (FF mother and RR father).
Location: The area they use for archives is a mountain the Krystaling once mined to the point of the stone colossus just being tunnels and some deposits of gemstones and minerals. However, there is one large quartz crystal that grows near the center. The Krystaling left it alone and offered it to the Elven tribes (Falcon Furies mainly) as a token of friendship and as a gift towards their alliance. This quartz stone is so large that the FF developed a system where they could use chunks of the quartz to store data, they then hollow out holes within the mountain, to archive said data. The system is unknown to anyone but a Falcon Fury due to them not wanting certain information to be easily attained if anyone ever managed to infiltrate.
General Class Info: The Falcon Furies are considered the Elves last line of defense should any of the other countries decide to invade. This would prove disastrous to the invaders as the Falcon Furies, when not archiving or running messages, spend majority of their “free” time, training in martial arts. They are even considered to be a “myth” by the other tribes due to them not being seen that often, but that is due to the Falcon Furies taking on bird forms in order to carry messages. Some of the other elves sometimes forget these birds are actually women from their sister tribe.
Lifespan: 1000 years avg
Height: 4ft avg
Body type: short and curvy, and sometimes "plump". Think a big pigeons for the curvier ones. Based off of Gyrfalcons and Peregrine falcons.
Fledglings: Colors are white, brown and offsets of blue.
The color markings on their skin are based off what clan they are. Hair is similar in coloration to markings.
Adults: Most coloration depend on the falcon family they're from. For example the Gyrfalcon tribe is White, black and off sets of blue with some brown colorations.
Ears have tufts of feathers on them. Different ear types but all have feathers on the base.
Different forms: bird, humanoid with wings for arms, or wings on their back.
Can carry around 300-400 pounds.
They can hover using their air element to make themselves almost weightless. (Think air bladder in a fish) add in their bodies are hard as iron from training. That means all their lifting power from their wings and element magic goes into carring the excess weight.
Specific Class: Windancer
Hierarchy: The Alular – three female leaders. Each individual one has the title of "Feather"
Naming Convention: Regular first name, but last name is based on their clan: hawk, eagle, or falcon.
There is a couple of major “hubs” no real cities as they travel often and bring back needed supplies, however there are some establishments BELOW them that have set up shop from elves who don’t necessarily belong to a tribe, and they sell and trade to the Falcon furies. They’re main establishment which is an overall term for where they live is called, Boreas.
South past the silvery boughs of the Silverdale forest as you head toward the Eostre kingdom of Ostaran lies Krysin Lake. Mystery surrounds much of what is known of Krysin Lake. Most of what is known of Krysin Lake that there is a constant mist that permeates the surrounding forest. Unsuspecting explorers are often perplexed as any who enters the mist lose their way and end up back where they started. Only a select few know of the Sacred Grove and its lone occupant.
This Sacred Grove has a dual purpose. This is where potential students have to find in order to get to the 7Stars Academy. Potential students are greeted by the mysterious Lady of the Lake who then requires them to pass a test. If they pass, a shooting star falls from the sky and upon catching it the Lady of the Lake, Nivian, informs them that this is their key to the Academy.
The Starkey is a clear quartz krystal that the students are given so they can enter the portal to the 7Stars Academy. The portal is held within the lake, and once they catch their starkey, they then enter the portal into an alternate dimension.
The school is located in the reflection of the lake, like a mirror image. Once there, the starkey has three wishes that can only be used under school guidelines.
Large building in the middle that serves as administration and general classes. Side islands for the different elements and their environments tend to reflect that.
Students are given a messenger bag and a grimoire. Magic in Myria is such that it is only limited by your imagination and how much mana you can wield. For example, Tethered partners are the most powerful because a Grigori is a mana battery. Students are required to craft their own spells and techniques, and experiment. Once they perfect it, the Grimoire is used to write down the spells, as well as take notes. Eventually, the magic user will memorize crafted spells, but there’s always something new to discover.
They have their pilgrimage to find the school
Once they pass Nivian’s test, the school sends out a shooting star. This star falls towards the students in question, and after catching it, that star is used as their key throughout the school. A metallic star shaped object with a clear krystal inside, once the students element is confirmed, it will change colors. This key is required before they can pass through the gate.
When they’re there, for the first year they get general classes regarding their statuses. Whether they’re a Wick, a Wick with a familiar, a Wick with a Weapon or Tethered.
Graduating is when they’ve determined their elements and their star key confirms it (first wish: “I wish to know my elemental true. Please release to me this by changing hue.”), they make their wish to be granted access to said elemental island (second wish: “Now that the elements decree, please grant safe passage unto me.”)
Once they learn their element, and get to their island, they learn specifics on how to use that element and battle tactics.
Four quarters in a year. Four years total.
1st year 1st Q: Intro to Magic equipment & Tools / Intro to Elements & Bonds
1st year 2nd Q: Intro to Weapons / Intro to Elements & Bonds
1st year 3rd Q: Intro to Fighting styles / Intro to Elements & Bonds
1st year 4th Q: Elements & Bonds , Element is determined, Paths Determined. Ceremony and Island introduction. Go to machine for weapon. (Use star for third wish to determine weapon)
2nd - 3rd Year: Training lessons either on elemental islands or in training grounds below. No set classes, just cabbits who give itinerary of what they need to do and in what order. If students need help, can call on cabbits, or if it's really bad, get help from instructors.
4th year: Work Study and go to the outfitter (magic machine) for outfit and traveling supplies through Myria.
Falcon Furies are able to take an elective class where they bond with a song bird, or smaller bird, while at the Academy. At the end of the 4th year there is a ceremony and during it, the Falcon Fury can choose to change their bird form.
Things students can do after Academy: be an agent for the Academy, set up regular magic schools for the basic magic users to learn. Yearly tournament for rankings, adventurer, nobles hiring for protection or tutors, or any magic path.
Special note: Once at the Academy, the realm suppresses the magic so that the Grigori do not die and can go through their first year to determine if they want to be a Wick, Wic'kin or Wraith
Elemental islands are “guarded” and cannot be accessed unless you use the gateway on the mainland and have Invisible barriers.
6 spires for each element that reflects on the main school – each of the main symbols on top of the gate stones. Rune imbedded into the rock with gemstones.
Mana flows on the islands like water, and on the elemental islands, is the same color as the element. The mana will “evaporate” and get stuck under the trees. This makes the trees glow, and since they’re all different colors on the mainland, but similar colors on the islands, it has a rainbow effect. Mana collecting under the tree canopies causes them to glow and due to this they have a festival where the students collect the mana and perform a ritual of returning it back to the rivers. This is centered on a festival called the Rainbow Festival.
Cabbits run the school in that they give the lessons, and information, then send the students out for “self study”. If the students need help, then they can call on the cabbits. Cabbits on the academy do not have the genie bands, so they can appear or disappear at will. There are certain things that are not cabbit specific, but trainer specific, and so certain specialty things are trained by other elves or species that have specialized in elements and techniques.
First year is general lessons about their path. Wicks would learn applicable studies like herbs, gems, tarot, or typical hedge witch stuff. Wic’kin know their element (due to ceremony of finding their familiar before going to the Academy), but the first year is centered on working with them and what their bond entails. Wraiths train with many different weapons, however, a ceremony must be performed that allows a cabbit to syphon the magic from them till they find their weapon of choice to imbue with the magical bond.Tethered are not only trying to work together regarding their bond, but also working towards discovering their elements. Some may already know, but it does not become official until the closing ceremonies when they’re branded.
Second – Third year they’ve graduated to their individual elemental islands and are now focusing on elemental combat, mundane aspects, as well as working with their partner with the element and how to pull from their Grigori or Familiar if they are a Savant. The other is the Grigori and Familiars learn defensive tactics to counter the Savant or Wicks offensive tactics.
Fourth year is a work study in that they have to go to their main reality, and travel around. They have to send reports back through falcons, and this goes to the archives and then a copy goes to the Academy. There are special locations set up just for this and are run by Falcon Furies. They look like normal elves, but wait till they enter the trees to transform.
Starting on the north most island and going clockwise.
Sindome Island: Shadow element island. Mana and tree color is purple/red
Ae'wa Island: Water element island representing Spring. Mana and tree color is blue/purple
Nazreem Island: Fire element island representing Summer. Mana and tree color is Red/orange
Kalinda Island: Light element island. Mana and tree color is blue/gold
Grit'ne Island: Earth element island representing Autumn. Mana and tree color is yellow/green
Villiosa Island: Air element island representing Winter. Mana and tree color is white/black
Mana color on each individual island is the same. Mana colors on main island are mixed together. Not on the same tree but like an Air tree next to Earth tree.
Maybe the weather on each island is similar to its associated season. Light island maybe is always Dawn and Shadow island weather is similar to Dusk/Twilight except at night.
Each island has a courtyard with the sigil rune inlaid in the stone floor.
Once a year festival called the Rainbow Festival where the students capture the trapped mana under the trees and release it back into the mana water. This occurs in the spring, and is centered around Elven customs. Nivian is a featured Matron for this festival and her likeness can be seen through out since she rules over water and the mana/water events for the festival sort of “invoke” her.
Once a year festival called the Starsong Festival where the students all catch falling stars and present it to a Krystaling. These Krystaling then use the starshards to create music, there is normally a crowned Queen and King for the best song throughout the festival. This event is centered around Krystaling customs. This event occurs in the fall. Dusk is the matron of this festival, during the fall equinox, there is a showing of falling stars to depict the beginning of the season, and because of her affinity for the Celestial, her image is seen throughout this, as well as being the Matron of the Krystaling.
